I have a soft spot for a foaming cleanser, it started in high school with my love of the Clean and Clear foaming facial wash, I went through over 40 bottles of the stuff as a teenager wanting to rid my skin of any oil for a squeaky clean feeling!

In more recent times I have favoured cleansing oils and balms rather than the pump up foam that I loved so much, but the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser has reignited the spark.

The difference between foaming cleansers of my teenage past and this one is that the foam is very thick almost like a mouse, which lets you really massage it into your skin to lift up any dirt or makeup residue. It is a very traditional cleanser in the sense that it is just cleansing, its not treating break outs or giving you any long term skin care benefits. But I love the quick convenience of it, one pump a quick massage and you wash it off, no flannel or 3 steps of oil cleansers it just does the job perfect for when you are super tired and just want to get to bed as quickly as possible. This is the perfect grown up version of a foaming facial cleanser that you will be happy to show off in your bathroom.

A quick danish lesson if you are curious Ole Henriksen is pronounced ‘Ohhhhh-la Hen-rick-sen’.
